    3. Christine, did any of those HART family members go up to Macoupin County? There are several HART families in Macoupin that I connect with via marriages., particularly a David Hart III b. 1802 from Mercer Co KY. I have some information on David's descendants but nothing further back than David. Carol Dugger Rio Vista CA

    3. Hi Carol, Interesting possibility - I don't happen to have a David III born 1802 Mercer KY but I did have a Shook/Hart connection in Crawford Co IL that I've had a lot of trouble with. It was Miles Hart b abt 1823 in KY who married Temperance Shook in 1846. They did name a son named David who was born in 1848. I've never been able to find out who Miles Harts father was - could have been David, could have been anybody. Miles was born in KY and moved to Crawford Co IL - which isn't all that close to Macoupin but they did manage to get around quite well. I know that somewhere in this line I thought I saw some mention of Macoupin but then it all runs together sometimes. If its not a lot of trouble would you just send me the information and maybe I can figure out some connection if there is one. My Catherine HART married James SHOOK which is why that Crawford IL couple sticks in my mind. Their daughter Hannah Elizabeth SHOOK is my ancestor. Thanks for the offer to help.. I appreciate it.. 3. Well this is what happens when you don't work on one family for a long time. All of a sudden SHOOK looked familiar to me and I found the other two names. I know nothing but here's what I have. Felix Foley m. Agnes Savage had son Theodore Foley who m. Pearl Stella Wilson (my 1st cousin 2x rmvd). They had Gary Theodore Foley(son Matthew), Vickey Lynn Foley(Married Randy Skelton) , Karen Elaine Foley (Married Robert Chase) , and Debra Kay Foley (Married Larry Hart with son Johathan Hart). I also show a Ronald Ray Jackson with they children. I have William Shook w/unknown wife. Died Bedford Co. TN. Daughter Melia Shook b. 1786 TN d. 1853 Jefferson Co. IL married Benjamin Carpenter. Her son Samuel is my line. I also have Gladys Hart m. William Austin with daughter Ruby Nigel Austin who married Everett Ellison Pyle. I have a Dana Hart who married William Andrew Smith of Omaha, Dallatin Co.IL son of John Pender Smith Sr. of White Co. and Blanche Marie Miller. Like I said, I don't have much information on these people but can tell you how I tie into them.
