    3. I have two listings for cemeteries in Carmi, Maple Ridge and Maple Grove. Are they one of the same or are there two in Carmi? Which one is right? Norm

    3. Norm, The big Carmi cemetery is Maple Ridge. There are Walnut Grove and Orange Grove in the country, as well as Oak Grove near Grayville. Maple Grove doesn't ring a bell.     3. Cindy: I haven't been in White Co. website recently and forget.. are those cemeteries on line and have they been walked off? I believe most of my family is in West Union Cemetery but can't remember if I've checked.     3. Hi Norm - To add confusion to the mix: I believe there's a Maple Grove Cemetery "across the border" -- in Evansville, IN, which quite a few Illinois folks chose as their final resting place.
