Hi Shirley, As far as I know, my William and Charlotte were born in N.C. and Va. in 1803 and 04. Somewhere they got married early and by 1828, they had their first child, Mary, in Tenn. Haven't seen the Rice name in any of the ones I believe are mine. There were a lot of Morris families in Saline, Gallatin and White. Probably, some are related. Some not. One lady in Mo., Joyce, is my top Morris authority. Her Morris line is very close to mine. I'll keep an eye out, you please do the same. Ernie
