Hello all, The White County Historical Society would like to invite all interested historians and genealogists to attend their spring dinner meeting on March 17, 2003, at 6:30 pm at the VFW post on Main Street in Carmi, IL. Guest speaker at the meeting will be Judith Puckett, President of the Wayne County Historical Society and a well known local historian. Her topic will be "The Hanging of Henry Voltz: Frontier Justice or Immigrant Tragedy?" The price for the dinner will be $10.
