    3. Does anyone have information they would share concerning an old time book titled "The Old Log Cabin" My Tucker-Parkhurst family came to White County from Kentucky/Tennessee and were married at Carmi on 18 Dec 1827. The Parkhursts evidently were either there or came before them. Also the Brockett family. At some point this book was written by a family Parkhurst member. I have been unable to locate it anywhere. I am still trying to locate my GGGF Henry H Tucker's parents and family. Can anyone please help me with this problem. I have asked before and have received some information but I still can't link Henry to anyone, but am sure the mystery is some where hidden in that area. Tuckers were Primitive Baptist and the Parkhursts were Presbyterians. I would appreciate any help you might give me. Thanking you in advance. Joan Tucker Adkins

    3. JOAN, A photocopy of the book you seek is in the Mary Smith Fay Genealogy Library at Carmi, White Co. IL. I copied this book and spiral bound it from an original a few years ago. The original was owned by two sisters, both of whom are deceased now. I don't know who has possession at this time. You can contact the MSF Library at P O Box 121, Carmi, 62821, phone 618-382-8425, and ask them to copy it for you. I know it is still there, in the church section, I think.
