    3. Can anyone tell me where Benjamin F. BRUCE and his wife Tabitha Stephens BRUCE are buried? They lived in Enfield but I am not sure if that is in White Co. or Gallatin Co. I would assume that they were buried in the Enfield Cemetery but don't know this for sure. Thanks, Carol Dugger Rio Vista, CA

    3. Enfield is in White Co. They could be buried in West Union Cemetery. My family was from Enfield and that is where they are buried. Janean OH, do you have any knowledge Henry Wilkerson and Mary "Polly" Bruce daughter of Michael D. Bruce. I'm going back into the 1700's now. Not sure of location other than Henry Wilkerson was b. 1764 in Albemarie Va. His daughter Rachel m. and lived in Jefferson Co. Mt. Vernon IL. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carol Dugger" <cvdugger@allera.net> To: <ILWHITE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 28, 2003 12:25 PM Subject: [ILWHITE] BRUCE > Can anyone tell me where Benjamin F. 3. Is West Union Cemetery the same was Union Cemetery? I have a partial copy of "Cemeteries of White County, Illinois" Volume 1, and it lists Union Cemetery, but not West Union. There are no Bruces listed there. I've been to West Union and don't recall seeing any Bruces there either. Benjamin F. and Tabitha Bruce are also not listed to be buried in Ebenezer or Mt. Oval Cemeteries. I've also looked around in Hazel Ridge cemetery and unless they are in an unmarked grave, or have a stone so deteriorated as to not be easily read, they are not there either. Carol, I know we've corresponded before. Can you remind me of your Bruce line? My line is from Benjamin Jasper Bruce, son of Isaac Jones Bruce. If I come across anything, I'll be sure to let you know. Good luck!!
