Carol, Just about all the Bruce family members are buried at Crawford Campground cemetery near Ridgway. I am pretty sure these Bruces are there. You can check this out at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~davidca/Gall-cem/listings.htm There are also lots of Bruce family members at a cemetery near Omaha, not many in White County. That depends on which Bruce line. There are two lines in the area, supposedly not connected, but I'm determined to find a connection down the line somewhere. :-) Anyhow, there are lots of other Bruces buried throughout White Co., in Ebenezer, Mt. Oval, Hazel Ridge, and possibly other cemeteries. I'm not familiar with the Bruces buried in Ridgway. Do you have a listing of who those are? I just know that there used to be an older gentleman who came to our family reunion who was a Bruce, but not connected to our line. He just liked to come and enjoyed the company. I'm not sure if he's still living because I've not seen him in years. The Bruces were in Sumner Co., Tenn., before moving to Southeast Ill. One set moved up there around 1815-1817, and I think another set moved up there years later. I'm not sure of all the details, just that I'm descended from the first set. That set was Robert Bruce and his son Isaac Jones Bruce, father of Benjamin Jasper Bruce, my 3g-grandfather.
