Penny C. Marrone, 59, of Carmi, Illinois passed away at 11:35 A.M. on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born on Friday, January 23, 1953 in Glendale, California to Charles and Winifred Josephine (Ralston) Marrone. Penny is survived by her mother: Winifred Marrone of Mount Vernon, Illinois, two daughters: Sandi Smith of Bonnie, Illinois and Christina Petersen and husband Brandyn of Bluford, Illinois, six grandchildren: Rebekah Fjelstead of Houston, Texas; Nathanael Fjelstead of Bonnie, Illinois; Kadi Petersen of Bluford, Illinois; Emmali Petersen of Bluford, Illinois; Alyson Petersen of Bluford, Illinois, and William Petersen of Bluford, Illinois, and two brothers: John Marrone and wife Penny of Osage Beach, Missouri and Bill Marrone and wife Cecilia of Columbus, Ohio. Her father one grandchild: David Petersen preceded her in death Penny worked for Martin and Bailey as an assistant manager at Hucks In honor of Penny’s wishers, she will be cremated and no service will be held.
