She was born Oct. 3, 1950, in Evanville, the daughter of Deane and Wanda L. (Dixon) Wilson. Jane was a dedicated school teacher and taught for 32 years at Beaver Creek School as well as two years at Dahlgren School. She loved her family, her students and her cat. She is survived by: a sister, Donna Barnes, Marion, Ky.; a niece, Amy Cardwell, Marion, Ky. She was preceded in death by: her parents; a nephew, Robert Cardwell; and her brother-in-law, Jay Barnes. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012, at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with burial in Enfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 9, at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Pets at Risk.
