I know relatively little about his family, other than the names of his father and grandfather. I am curious about his relationship (if any) to the Richard Oliver family (also of Bristol), who were in Antigua and later came to Massachusetts in the 1700's. Thomas Oliver was Ruling Elder of the Church in Boston after his arrival. Richard and Robert Oliver held land grants in Antigua, evidently beginning about 1690. I believe it is possible that the Oliver families were members of St. Nicholas Church in Bristol. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
