    3. Robert C. York 66-year-old Springerton resident, Robert C. "Bob" York died Tuesday, May 8 at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. He had been a truck driver and retired from Schnucks in St. Louis after 26 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Leann York of Springerton; a daughter, Teresa Boysen of Texas; a son, Rob York of Texas; three grandchildren; three step-children, Skip Stanley of Mill Shoals; Velvet Tucker of Haubstadt, IN and Mary Stanley of Fairfield; six step-grandchildren; a sister, Laquita Allen of Poplar Bluff, MO and a brother, Ronnie York of St. Louis. A celebration of life service for Bob York will be held on Sunday, May 20 at the Mill Shoals Ruritan Building from 1 - 4 p.m. St. Louis after 26 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
