I did a little searching for you and am sending what I found. More questions than answers I think. This is very confusing, it looks as if William E Hardin may have been a son of Margaret Parker Rukes/Rooks. I can spend some more time on this if you want. Do you have any additional facts? Hardin (DOB 2-12-1893), who was the son of William Hardin & Maggie Rooks. In looking at your threads, I'm wondering if Maggie Rooks is the same person as Maggie (Margaret) Grandstaff or Maggie (Margaret) Parker. There are (2) marriages recorded in the White CO IL Marriage directory between William Hardin and Maggie Grandstaff on 5/3/1897, and William Hardin & Maggie Parker on 4/9/1893. I've been told he was a Cherokee Indiana who had 5 wives. Please let me know if anyone out there can make a connection! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
