My great grandmother is Rada Lee Sims. I am just beginning to discover my "roots". I moved to Bath, NC 3 years ago which is in Beaufort County. I have seen on other family trees that Polly Ann Braddy's father (Joseph) and/or grandfather (Benjamin) is from the Beaufort County, NC area. I am more than willing to find out any information I can from the local library, that does have a nice genealogy room, or the county courthouse. I just need some help in directing me with some accurate as possible name and/or dates to look up. I would appreciate any information to assist me and more than willing to post any information/copies/pictures I may be able to obtain. The Braddy surname is a common name down in this area. Who knows, I am may be able to contact some local "kin" and be able to obtain information that way.
