She was born June 14, 1925 in New Haven, the daughter of Jake and Lora (Goforth) Wood. She was a homemaker. She was Presbyterian by faith. Graveside funeral services and burial for Wilma Jean Hale, will be Monday, May 28, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven. The Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
