I will bet you that Rachel died on or about 7 Dec 1893 as well. I have done quite a bit of reserach on the AUD line on and off over the years. I have the first line as Thomas in France as well and found it so interesting that they started as Catholics and ended up as Baptisits as early as Maryland. I have often wondered when and why they changed. I will bet they changed in France with the persecution of the Catholics......and then to become members of the Baptist clergy. I will bet that you could make a call to the Baltimore archives and find boxes of documents on the early AUD line.
