Hi-- I have an Eakins line that connects to the Biggerstaffs of Rutherford CO., NC. My gg grandpa's sister (Sarah "Sallie" Eakins) married a Samuel Biggerstaff abt 1806 and stayed in NC. Sallie's sister, Isabella Eakins married a Wilkerson/Wilkinson and I think left NC but am not certain on that. The rest of Sallie's siblings (4 brothers) all left NC and went into Henderson CO., KY, Missouri, and other places. I know very little on siblings Samuel and Isabella. Samuel Biggerstaff (1774-1850) was the son of Benjamin Biggerstaff and Mary Vanzant. Benjamin was the son of Samuel SR Biggerstaff (b. 1720 in England--d. 1764 in Rutherford CO., NC) and Mary (Elizabeth?) Moore. I would like to find out more on Sarah Eakins Biggerstaff and her sister Isabella Eakins Wilkinson/Wilkerson.
