Hello, friends, I am wondering if anyone on this forum might know where, in the town of Crossville, the Primitive Baptist church, was located. That is, what street or streets? or what part of town. It closed in about 1986, and was torn down about that time, I think. I would appreciate any help. Members, Luckily, this did not really affect Carmi or White County, but Gallatin and Saline Counties were heavily damaged by tornadoes last night. At least 6 were killed in Harrisburg, and the damage was great, including a new mini-mall and the hospital. In Ridgway the 1870s St. Joseph's Catholic church was totally destroyed. The marble altar was spared, along with the very front door, but the rest of the building fell on the rectory and school. The popcorn factory and other downtown buildings were damaged. We had heavy rain and wind damage but not much else. Ridgway is about 25 miles from Carmi, Harrisburg is 33 miles to the SW. Cindy
