A lot of folks out there make "leaps of faith" and connect names that are unproven relationships. So just be sure you are double checking with other researchers and asking them where they get their information. That's why this forum is so helpful because we researchers of the same family roots can get together online here and discuss our findings and share documents, photos, etc. My information on the Braddy's is sketchy at best- which is why I started this particular thread on Ancestry.com's Message Boards. The only info I can give you to go on is Joseph Braddy (possible father of Polly Ann Braddy Lee Randolph King) purchased land in Illinois in 1855: BRADDY JOSEPH FD NENE 25 01S 04E 3 4000 13 500 March 29, 1855 041 112 177 469637 0 (Jefferson County, Illinois. His date of birth is estimated at 1799 and death estimated at sometime after 1855. This is the only documentation I have and I can't be sure of much with only this info.
