Jim and Kay (Wageneck) Carter of Enfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 8. They were married Sept. 8, 1962, at Enfield Methodist Church, with Paul Vise officiating at 7 p.m. They have two children, daughter Kim (Terry) Woodrow of Clay City and son John of Enfield, and one granddaughter, Danielle (Austin) Dillman of Hammond. Jim and Kay celebrated their anniversary at their home at Lake Barkley with all of their family, including Carla Young, as well as their furry friends, Mandy May, Kippie Ann and Margo.
