Morris, 86, of Norris City passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Morris was born Oct. 30, 1925 in Gossett, the son of William Ernie and Hallie Frances (Campbell) Morris. He married Bertha Ann Edwards on April 8, 1947. Morris owned and operated F.E. Morris Excavating and was a World War II and Korean War Army veteran. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge (32nd degree Mason), Hadi Shrine, American Legion and VFW. Morris is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bertha of Norris City; two daughters, Alice Ann Sutton and Marsha Jean Price both of Norris City; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Charlotte Morris of Norris City; six grandchildren, Shawnda Morris, Amanda Cannon, Allison Grabert, Victoria Woodrow, Scott Price and Gina Harms; and 11 great-grandchildren. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Francis Russell Morris and a brother, W.D. Morris. Funeral Arrangements are pending at the Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.
