I am the original post, but I no nothing of my Horn families. The only thing I know is that my great great grandma Tabitha Horn lived there, but went to Arkansas. She married my great great grandpa William McCarty who had lived in IL also. My great grandpa Israel Nicholas McCarty says he was born in McLeansboro, Il even though the 1860 Census he was born in Arkansas. His parents were dead by 1860. Israel moved to Franklin County, Il, and raised his family there. He eventually moved to Alexander Co., IL where he died.
