I have a pair of very old glasses that could possibly have belonged to one of my great grandparents who lived in White County-- Jacob and Hannah Goodart Zuber and Abraham and Narcissa Crabtree Land. The case has D. K. Rickenbach, jeweler and optician stamped on it. I found that from 1900 to 1920 David Rickenbach (wife was Emma) was a jeweler in Carmi. Can anyone give me a bit of history on David, as to when he started his business? I didn't find him in 1930, but by then my great grandparents (with the exception of Abe Land) were dead.
