Carmi Times Thu Apr 23, 2009 Colorado - Jennifer Groff Sheppard, 45, Aurora, Colo., died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at her home. She was born Nov. 15, 1963, in Wooster, Ohio, the daughter of Gene Francis Groff and Ruth Ann (Stein) Groff. She was a secretary and an avid animal lover and advocate. Survivors include: her father, Gene, and his wife Ann of Norman, Okla.; her mother, Ruth Ann Groff, Centennial, Colo.; a brother, Bradley Gene (Mindy Passmore) Groff of Ft. Lupton, Colo.; grandparents, Alvin and Faire Stein of Crossville, and Dan and Mary Groff of Grayville and Plant City, Fla.; an aunt, Janet (Dick) Pampe of Powell, Wyo.; great-aunt, Margaret Spencer of Grayville; and a niece and nephew, Cortney Ann Groff and Samuel Gene Groff. Funeral service is at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2009, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville. There will be no prior visitation. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville. ..
