Carmi Times Fri Apr 17, 2009 Norris City, Ill. - Roberta L. Campbell, 66, Norris City, died at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009, at her residence. She was born Aug. 1, 1942, in Carbondale, the daughter of David Robert and Gladys Vivian (Fickert) Dixon. She married James William Campbell June 16, 1975 and he preceded her in death May 18, 1988. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Carmi and was a beautician. Among her survivors are a stepson, Keith W. Campbell of Orient, Ill., and two step-granddaughters, Kaylee Marie and Tiffany Dawn Campbell. Graveside funeral services and burial is at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Union Cemetery in Norris City with the Rev. Terra Sisco officiating. Campbell Funeral Home of Norris City is in charge of the arrangements and asks those attending to meet at the cemetery.
