Carmi Times Tue Apr 21, 2009 Carmi, Ill. - Janet R. Kimbrell, 68, Carmi, died at 3:51 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2009, at her residence. She was born Aug. 7, 1940, in Crossville, the daughter of Chelsea and Jessie (Garrison) Fobar. She married James Robert Kimbrell Jr. June 4, 1960, and he survives. Janet was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Carmi. Among her other survivors are: a daughter, Lesa (Art) Gonzales of Mesa, Ariz.; a son, Brian (Melinda) Kimbrell of Camarillo, Calif.; and three grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with the Rev. Luke Raczykowski officiating and burial to follow at Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Crossville. Visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2009, at the funeral home.
