Carmi Times Mon Apr 20, 2009 Norris City, Ill. - Bob Campbell, 68, Norris City, died at 6:10 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2009, at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. He was born July 24, 1940, in Hamilton County, the son of Joseph Raymond and Mary Alice (Tate) Campbell. He married Carolyn Sue Kinney Sept. 20, 1963, and she survives. Bob was a foreman and fabricator for Bucyrus American Inc., in Norris City. Surviving along with his wife of 45 years are: a son, David Bryan Campbell of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; a brother, Jack Campbell of Norris City; a grandson, Devin Michael Campbell; and two sisters-in-law, Anna Campbell of Norris City and Carolyn Campbell of Carmi. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, John and Leroy Campbell, and a sister-in-law, Roberta Campbell. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City, with the Rev. William Jackson and Mike Fields officiating. Burial to follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2009, at the funeral home.
