Carmi Times Fri Jul 17, 2009 Carmi, Ill. - Inez Blazier, 91, Carmi, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009 at VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville, Ind. She was born June 1, 1918 in Maunie, the daughter of A.C. and Eppsia Jane (Wade) Allison. She was married July 21, 1934 to John Wesley Blazier, and he preceded her in death Jan. 14, 2000. She attended Marshall Ferry General Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, LaDonna and David Pelham of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Brenda and Jerry Forcht of Cypress; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Susan Blazier of Jacksonville, Fla., and Keith and Jan Blazier of Willisville; ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Muriel and Carl Allison, and Manford Perry; and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, the Rev. Bob Pollard and Debbie Blazier Newton officiating. Burial will be in White County Memorial Garden near Carmi. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
