Born July 6, 1932, to Chris and Norma (Land) Wageneck in Enfield, Ill., he married Ruth Aileen Wilson Boster on May 27, 1961, in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are his daughter, Donna (Gary) Gladson of Bartonville; grandson, Tom (Melissa) Gladson of Bartonville; granddaughter, Tracy (Andy) Cervantes; and great-grandson, Noah Cervantes, all of West Peoria. One sister and two brothers preceded him in death. Bob was a member of Mohammed Shrine, Grand View Lodge 1112 and Scottish Rite for more than 20 years. He was also a member of the American Legion and AMVETS for more than 30 years, and a lifetime member of the VFW. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1952 to 1954. Bob worked at Komatsu Dresser for 40 years as a test mechanic, retiring Aug. 31, 1990. Cremation rites will be accorded. Private family services will be conducted at a later date. Arrangements are conducted by Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
