Carmi Times Tue Jul 21, 2009 Carmi, Ill. - Lloyd E. Duvall, 74, Carmi, passed away at 10:17 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield. He was born April 27, 1935 in Sadler, Ky., the son of Joseph Jackson and Sarah Jane (McStoots) Duvall. He married Patricia Ann Burress Feb. 3, 1982. Mr. Duvall worked at O'Daniel Trucking for 32 years and was a Kentucky Colonel. He attended First Christian Church in Carmi and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Pat Duvall of Carmi; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Carmon Chitwood of Carmi, and Rosa and Keith Moran of Brandenburg, Ky.; a son, Lloyd Edward Duvall of Louisville Ky.; a brother, Donald Duvall of Olney; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Gonzalez, Mary Duvall and Martha Kandle; and eight brothers, Everett, Willie, Mitchell, Roger, Joby, Bob, Shirley and Latney Earl Duvall. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, Steve McClure officiating. Burial will be in North Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi. Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be conducted by the Carmi Masonic Lodge at 7:30 p.m.
