(no parents listed) P. 18 December 21, 1830 Joseph Upton and Lurina Moore by A.Garrison (no parents listed) "Hamilton Co., Il. Death Records, Vol. II 1901-1920 by Dessie Hunt Harrelson, 1985 P. 25 The Times - 1903 Nancy Moore Upton died Dec. 31, 1902, age 89-9-3. Born in Tenn. March 28, 1813, came to Ill. in 1818. Married to John Upton in 1832, had 5 boys and 4 girls, 2 surviving. Buried Springerton, Cem. (this is in White Co., Ill.) (Obit Jan. 15, 1903 paper). "Probate Index, White Co., Ill. 1818-1876 " by Harriet B. Vaught, 1976. p. 66 Box #35 William H. Moore, executor Samuel Moore 1848 (This is the only Wm. Moore in early years of probate records in White Co., Il He is probably not related to your Moore/Upton women.) The Springerton Cemetery listing for Nancy Moore Upton says she was born in Ky.and came to Ill. in 1829. These may be transcription errors from the gravestone.
