VALIER - Violet A. Bulla, 83, died Sunday, July 19, 2009, in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. There will be no services. Mrs. Bulla's wish was to be cremated. Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bulla was a beautician all her life. She was born April 17, 1926, in Carmi to Charles Alva and Tommie Mae (Duckworth) Sigler. She was previously married to Nick Bulla; he preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Pamela Woolard of Christopher and Debbie and Randy Redding of Florida; grandchildren, Kara Minor of Valier and Scott Bulla of Mulkeytown; great-grandchildren, Taylor Woolard and Trajen Minor, both of Valier, and Kelsey Bulla of Coello; and a sister, Vickie Sailer of Evansville, Ind.
