Carmi Times Thu Sep 03, 2009 Kentucky - Charles Ray Wyatt, 62, died Friday, Aug. 28, 2009 at his home in Paducah, Ky. At Charles' request, his body was cremated. The family invites family and friends to a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6 at Providence Cumberland Presbyterian Church west of Carrier Mills. Charles was born Nov. 30, 1946 to Fae and the late Daniel Wyatt. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judith (Archer) Wyatt; a daughter, Kimberly Jo Wyatt of Paducah; his mother, Fae, of Carmi; a sister, Mary (Ernie) Hargett, Crossville; a brother, David Hammond (and Linda) of Eaton Rapids, Mich.; and many friends and family. He was a coal miner for 40 years and retired just recently. Don Tudor will give the eulogy, assisted by the Rev. Shannon Goolsby, with interment at a later date. The family requests no flowers, please, but make donations to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the church.
