Dear List, I have just recently determined that an ancestor of mine probably died in White County. I was wondering if anyone had access to a will abstract index, or the actual copied wills, etc., where they might tell me whether any record(s) exists. Mary (Buchanan) Jones d. APR or MAY 1845, White County, Illinois She came to White County from Sumner County, Tennessee by 1843 or so (after the death of her husband, Richard Jones, in 1837).
