I have Garrisons and Taylors both in my ancestry charts, but not the names you have here.  Delilah Taylor is my 2nd great grandmother and md. Elisha McDowell..this is on my mother's maternal side.  Susannah Garrison is also my 2nd great grandmother on my father's paternal side.  She md. Elijah Jordan.  The Taylors and McDowells came from Vandeburgh Co., IN and TN.  The Jordan/Garrison were Franklin Co., IL .  You may want to check those counties to see if there is a connection.  Also, as a coincidence, I was named for both my maternal and paternal great grandmothers.  Dorcas and Arvilla ...
