Carmi Times Mon Dec 28, 2009 Carmi, Ill. - Phoeba M. Clark, 83, Carmi, passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, at Enfield Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Enfield. She was born May 5, 1926 in Burnt Prairie, the daughter of Daniel and Iola (Murphy) Morrill. She married Harvey Donald Clark on Dec. 31, 1946 in Kentucky, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 2002. Phoeba loved her family. She loved to dance and play bingo. She had attended the Assembly of God Church. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Debra Clark of Princeton, Ind.; one daughter, Sherry Clark of Carmi; three grandchildren, Tina Stinson, Crystal Travelstead and Seth Clark; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Wanda Morrill of Carmi, and Tommy and Betty Morrill of Enid, Okla. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and David Morrill, and three sisters, Eunice Rhein, Christina Dyehouse and Shirley Fay Kemper. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at North Maple Ridge Cemetery, the Rev. Keith Moore officiating. Stendeback Family Funeral Home/Kittinger-Fair in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
