Carmi Times Tue Dec 01, 2009 Indiana - Betty Garrett, 67, Evansville, Ind., passed away at 12:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at Deaconess Hospital in that city. Betty was born Feb. 1, 1942, in White County, Ill. She is survived by her mother, Ruby Diefenbaugh of Evansville; a sister, a niece and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Willie Diefenbaugh and her grandparents, Cora and Frank Robbins. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel, 5330 Washington Ave., Evansville. Burial will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery.
