Carmi Times Thu May 14, 2009 Michigan - Graveside services for Gerald Perkins, formerly of Crossville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at White Oak Cemetery in Oblong. Pulliam Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. Mr. Perkins, 90, Portage, Mich., died Dec. 17, 2008. He was employed with the Sun Oil Co., Production Unit, for 42 years, working almost equal time in the Crossville, Ill. and Gladwin, Mich. areas before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Geneva (Baker); his second wife, Henrietta (Voight); his third wife, Carol (Hawk); a son, Ronald, of Grayville, Ill.; and a brother, Earl Perkins of Oblong, Ill. He is survived by three sons, Robert (Ann) Perkins of Portage, Mich., Roger (Rebecca) Perkins of Princeton, Ill., and Michael (Debi) Perkins of Gladwin, Mich.; four grandchildren, Todd Perkins of Portage, Robert P. (Kelle) Perkins of Madison Heights, Mich., Lindsay (Kannan) Ramanathan of Hutchinson, Minn., and Lance Perkins of Gladwin; four great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Alicia, Janie and Jazmine; a brother, Kleon Perkins of Oblong, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
