Carmi Times Fri Jun 05, 2009 Michigan - Gerald E. Puckett, 72, Grand Blanc, Mich., died May 24, 2009 at his home. He was born Sept. 9, 1936 at Burnt Prairie, the son of the late Walter and Viola (Gwaltney) Puckett, and was a 1954 graduate of Mills-Prairie High School. He had lived most of his life in Michigan and was retired from GM. Among his survivors are his wife, three sons, a daughter, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, six brothers, three sisters, 25 nieces and nephews, and 30 great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral and burial were in Michigan.
