I am looking for anyone researching the King families of White Co., Illinois, particularly those who migrated from Virginia possibly through Kentucky in the late 1700's to early 1800's. This line would be from Surry Co., Virginia. I research James King of Pope Co., Illinois who migrated to Kentucky then Pope Co. He died in Golconda in 1839. I have reason to believe he may have had family in White Co., possibly an uncle?
