Ok this is a long shot. I have two KING girls that married WILSON boys. The Kings were from Stafford/Halifax Co. Va. Married a KERNEY girl. They ultimately hooked up in Berkley Co. Wva where there also lived a family by the name of BLUE. One of the KERNEY girls married a BLUE and they all moved on to Kentucky mostly the Western part.... Union Co. which is near the border into Illinois. The WILSON/KING marriages also had interest in Kentucky. Union Co. specifically. My WILSON/KING's were in White Co. and these families all go back to the 1700's in my database and earlier. However I have no male KING's there in White Co. that I know of. I only have the line of the one male who married the KERNEY girl Janean -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of bmoake Sent: Monday, June 15, 2009 8:04 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [ILWHITE] Kings of White Co. I am looking for anyone researching the King families of White Co., Illinois, particularly those who migrated from Virginia possibly through Kentucky in the late 1700's to early 1800's. This line would be from Surry Co., Virginia. I research James King of Pope Co., Illinois who migrated to Kentucky then Pope Co. He died in Golconda in 1839. I have reason to believe he may have had family in White Co., possibly an uncle? ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
Hi Janean, Who were the two King girls and what were their parents names? What Kings do you have that go back to the 1700's? Where were your Kings living in the 1700's?
