She was born on 8 Jun 1834 in Illinois and died 24 Jan 1902 in Newark, Independence Co., Arkansas. Her first husband, Joseph BOULTINGHOUSE (1837-1877), was a White Co. Illinois native and fought for the Union in the Civil War. After his death, she married Cargle SEWARD and lived and died in Newark, Arkansas. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. I'm in Arkansas so I don't have access to primary sources. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Hello, White County researchers: The family story is that my great-great grandparents William Little (abt 1810- Mar 1865) and his second wife whose maiden name was Martha Vaughan (b. abt 1832, d. abt 1864) were buried in White County, possibly near "Blue Mound" Church. My great-grandmother Tabetha Ann (called Annie, and who married U. Travis Walden) was a toddler when they died, and she was raised by Judge Orlando Burrell. I'd like to know where William and Martha are buried and to hear from other descendants of this pair or of William and his first wife Rutha (1809-1863). Thanks! Joan Gipson-Fredin Vista, Californai
I too would be interested in information about this family. I am researching Hughes and Clark in White County. I believe William Little's son, James, married my great-aunt Elizabeth Hughes.
