Carmi Times Mon Jun 15, 2009 Carmi, Ill. - Catherine Fullop, 86, Carmi, christened Mary Elizabeth Catherine Oldani, passed away at 8:35 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2009 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi, after a prolonged illness. She was born April 7, 1923 in Christopher, the daughter of Louis and Mary (Barbaris) Oldani. She was a beautician. She was a member of St. Polycarp Catholic Church in Carmi, the Ladies Guild, VFW Auxiliary and a volunteer at the White County Senior Citizens Center. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Marilouise and Jack Micuda of California; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Leslie Fullop of Colorado; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by a brother, Angelo Oldani. A Funeral Mass was conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Polycarp Catholic Church in Carmi, the Rev. Stephen Rudolphi officiating, followed by viewing and reception at St. Polycarp Parish Hall. Burial was in St. Andrews Catholic Cemetery in Christopher. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi was in charge of arrangements. Memorial gifts may be given in Mrs. Fullop's memory to the VNA Hospice and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home
