    1. [ILWHITE] ancestry changes.
    2. Cindy Birk Conley
    3. Listmembers, Ancestry has recently added another restriction on their message boards. If you want to directly email someone who has posted to a message board you will likely get a message that the person has CHOSEN to only use ancestry's email system, which makes it hard for anyone who does not have an ancestry subscription. However, if you would like to be contacted directly or off the message board, you can edit your profile or change your preference to give people your email addy, although it is shown as a graphic to keep spam robots from grabbing it. I would suggest you make the change. I went ahead and added a public profile, since I am the board administrator. These public profiles seem to be an attempt to morph ancestry into a social networking website. I'm certainly more interested in finding the immigration record of Robert Savage than going to Twitter or Facebook. Cindy
