I have a William Toombs that was in White County, IL in the mid 1800's who appears came from TN around the Rutherford County area. This William had three wives...The last being a Rebecca Gray. She died I believe at the turn of the century (1904) living with her son in Mt. Carmel,(Wabash County) IL.
