He is buried at Union Cemetery just outside of Norris City, Illinois along with his first wife Elizabeth Oliver, as well as a host of other Olivers. As far as his descendents go some are still living in Southern Illinois, St. Louis area, Southern Missouri, Texas, and California. Valentine is my great-great-grandfather.
