Many of his descendants make up some of the oldest families in Edwards and White County, IL. His daughter, Elizabeth ca 1782 who married John "Jack" Spencer would not arrive with her family until 1831. Peter and his wife, Margaret, would settle first at French Creek Prairie near Grayville. Margaret is said to be buried in the cemetery at Calvin, IL. Peter's final resting place is unknown. Family lore has claimed that he drowned in the Big Wabash River within a year or two of emigrating from England. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
