Hart & her marriage's. Louisa Caladonia Hart was born to John Henry and Cassandra (Jones) Hart on 11 July 1841, probably Bedford Co., TN. The family was on the1850 Pope Co.., IL Federal Census. Never have found them on the 1860 Federal Census. Then Louisa Caladonia Hart married Willaim E. Emerson, in White Co., IL on 20 June 1865 in White Co., IL. William E. Emerson was a Civil War Veteran and his first wife wife Mary Ann. (Pyle) Emerson had died shortly after he entered the Army about 1861 leaving six children, Alan, age 13, Martha, age 9, Margaret, age 6, Dicy, age 4, Amos, age 2 & John, age, 1/12. > Two daughter's was born to Louisa Caladonia (Hart) and William E. Emerson, Orilla A. Emerson born 9 Feb. 1867 and she married Joseph F. Holston (Holsten) 17 Jul 1884, Wayne Co., IL. Oliva (Ollie) Emerson born 20 Oct. 1868 and married first James H. Courtney, 15 Feb. 1886, Saline Co., IL. two children was born to this marriage, Joseph Courtney, b, Jan. 1890 and Benjamin Terry Courtney, b. 3 Mar 1892, Wayne Co., IL. Oliva married 2nd James F. Shehorn, 28 Mar. 1896, Wayne Co., IL. and they had two children, Pearl Shehorn, b. Oct. 1896 and Chloe Shehorn, b. Feb. 1900. > William E. Emerson died 21 Apr 1868 before his 2nd daughter Oliva was born 20 Oct 1868. Louisa had another child Henry M. Emerson, born in 1870 or 1871, probably White Co., IL. by who? Then Louisa married James Watson, 2 Oct. 1871, White Co., IL., & I have no information as to what happened to this marriage? Then Louisa married William J. Duncan, 22 Nov. 1876, White Co., IL. and one child was born to this marriage, Evaster or Erastes Duncan in 1879 & she also divorced William J. Duncan in 1879. > On the 1880 White Co., IL Census, Louisa Duncan, age 40 is shown with children; Orilla Emerson, age 14, Oliva Emerson, age 12, Henry M. Emerson, age 9, and Evastes (Erastes) Duncan, age 1. > Does anyone have any information as to where & when did Louisa Caladonia (Hart) (Emerson) (Watson) Duncan die? Also any information on Henry M. Emerson, age 9, shown in the 1880 White County, IL. Federal census will help. > Just recently I found Erastes W. Duncan, age 40, was listed in Pike Twp, Stoddard County, MO. 1920 Federal Census, the county in Missouri where I live. The census shows that he was b in IL. father b in Minn. & Mother b in TN. His age, place of birth & his mother's place of birth is correct. Where did he go after 1920? Have searched the Missouri Death Records through 1958 & did not find him & searched the Stoddard County Cemetery Records & did not find him. > Any help on these families will be appreciated.
