Carmi Times Fri Jan 15, 2010 Carmi, Ill. - Marilyn H. Winter, 80, Carmi, passed away the evening of Thursday, January 14, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. Marilyn was born Sept. 11, 1929 in Carmi, the daughter of Clarence and Mamie (Stanley) Hubele. She married William B. Winter on Nov. 10, 1951 at First Christian Church in Carmi, and he survives. Marilyn worked for many years in the office at Tri-State Butane. She belonged to a local bridge club for nearly 50 years. She was an active member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and the U.M.W. She is survived by her husband, Bill; two sons, Greg and Mark Winter, both of Carmi; two grandchildren, Julie and Kimberly Winter; and four cousins, Ralph and Roger Hubele of Carmi, Stanley Hughes of Pascall, Wash. and Louise Taunton of Friendswood, Texas. She was preceded in death by a twin sibling. Arrangements are pending at Stendeback Family Funeral Home/Kittinger-Fair in Carmi.
