It's always nice to see any old S. IL family get "back to the boat". I have an Edward Kershaw, b. Oct 1847, Illinois m. 6 Apr 1873 White County, IL to Mary Frances Whiffin/Whiffen b. abt 1852 in Mississippi. I'm guessing that her Edward fits into this old family. Could you please enlighten me on that? Mary Frances was a grand-daughter of my ancestors Travis and Elizabeth Roebuck (Bobo) Bowden of Coffee County, TN.
