Carmi Times Wed Feb 17, 2010 Eldorado, IL Robert Joe Graddy, 80, of Eldorado, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Ferrell Hospital in that city. He was the husband of Linda (Quisenberry) Graddy, who survives. They were married Sept. 3, 1953. Robert was born in Springerton on Sept. 8, 1929, the son of the late Raymond and Bess (Hoover) Graddy.__He attended Eldorado Church of God of Eldorado. He served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in the Korean War. He worked as a truck driver prior to retirement. Robert is survived by a daughter, Lyn (Marty) Richardson of West Frankfort; two sons, Mark Graddy of Peoria and Wesley Musick of Lincoln; three grandchildren, Bob (Robbin) Richardson of Georgia, Amy (Jerry) Harkins of West Frankfort and Julie (Mike) Nolen of West Frankfort; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Ann, wife of Jack Melton of Jacksonville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Graddy and Charles Graddy; and a sister, Norma Blackwell. Funeral services will be private.
